Description

This charming and rather unusual early Victorian caddy spoon was made by the reputed silversmith George Unite and is dated Birmingham 1839 . The shovel-shaped bowl with bright-cut decorations, the reeded pillar handle with beaded oval finial.
Hallmarks:
GU for George Unite.
Duty Mark.
Lion Passant.
Birmingham Assay Mark.
Date letter "Q" for 1839.
