This good quality, good gauge, solid silver sugar bowl is dated Chester 1922 and bears the marks of the Barker Brothers. Of traditional form, the fluted lower section raised on a narrow oval pedestal base. The sides flanked by two reeded handles. The interior with very pale gilt wash.
Hallmarks:
HEB over FEB for the Barker Brothers.
Chester Assay.
Lion Passant.
Date letter "w" for 1922.
