This fabulous Victorian amethyst glass flagon decanter and stopper is mounted with an embossed silver collar by the renowned Henry Matthews. The presence of the Duy marks dates it to pre 1880. This style of flagon decanter (often referred to as onion or compressed claret jug) dates it circa 1875. The back with a very decorative clear glass "celery" handle, The neck with a faceted clear glass stopper.The hallmarked siler sleeve embossed with a fruiting grapevine design with trailing leaves and scrolls. The base with polished pontil mark.

This good sterling silver thimble dates circa 1925 and bears the marks of The Northern Goldsmiths Company. The lower section of the thimble with set of hallmarks and impressed MADE IN ENGLAND . STERLING SILVER. It fits snuggly in its original leather case lined with velvet and satin. It is a size 18.

This fine Palais Royal red leather and silver gilt mounted purse is in the shape of a sabretache. The front with a mother of pearl circular inset overlaid in gilt metal with a basket of flowers under a glass convex cover. Opens at the back. Green leather gusset and interior.

This superb silver and pique tortoiseshell capstan inkwell is dated Birmingham 1910 and bears the marks of the renowned Henry Matthews. The hinged silver lid with pique tortoiseshell medallion within a ribbon-tied border. The spread circular base with conforming ribbon-tied reeded border. Of traditional Capstan form, it is very elegant with its classical inspired motifs. Complete with the original inner ink receptacle. Loaded spread circular body lined with green felt.

This is an exquisite early George III silver cream jug. The baluster body plain, often these cream jugs were later embossed in the Victorian era, it is nice to have them untouched. The front cartouche engraved with the original Georgian initials. Pinched rim and scroll handle.
