This small and exquisite novelty silver pin cushion in the form of an elephant was made by the prolific Adie & Lovekin and dates circa 1900. It is fitted with its original blue velvet cushion.

This delightful Edwardian silver cocktail purse / visiting card case is dated Chester 1910 and was made by the Stokes & Ireland. Of rounded rectangular form, the front exquisitely engraved with neo-classical motifs . The back with conforming decorations. The interior with several compartments lined with the original blue moire silk. The sides fitted with a chain and suspension ring to allow a lady to hold her purse while holding her cocktail glass.

This is a rare and delightful 19th Century French Palais Royal* silver gilt and glass scent bottle. The tear-drop sliced-cut crystal body mounted with an elegant hallmarked silver gilt hinged lid. The lid with fine engine-turNed decorations surrounding a vacant reserve. The front applied a silver git cartouche. The neck with its original stopper.

*Palais Royal is a term used to describe, not a single manufacturer, but to a name given to a small area around the Royal Palace that specialised in producing small elaborate works of art and gifts in the 18th and 19th centuries.

This superb "Georgian revival" solid silver tea caddy is hallmarked for Sheffield 1890 and was made by the renowned silversmiths Martin Hall & Co. Of oval form, the pleasing proportions and bright-cut decorations reminiscent of Georgian designs. Silver Georgian revival pieces were all the rage in the late Victorian/Edwardian era, they were often very good quality pieces made by renowned silversmiths. The tactile oval body bright-engraved with an upper band of stylised leaves. The hinged domed cover with a delicate thumbpiece and conforming decorations.
Good gauge and wonderful quality.
