Description

This delightful and unusual William IV silver caddy spoon was made by the reputed silversmith George Unite and is dated Birmingham 1837 . The shovel-shaped bowl with stippled floral decorations. The reeded pillar handle with Prince of Wales feather terminal.
Hallmarks:
GU for George Unite.
Duty Mark.
Lion Passant.
Birmingham Assay Mark.
Date letter "N" for 1836.
