Description
This charming and unusual Victorian silver "shell" coin purse was made circa 1880. Of scalloped form, it is decorated on both sides with with alternate bands of embossed foliate scrolls. The push button on the top opening to reveal the original silk interior. The pale blue interior divided in three compartments.Hallmarks:
Unmarked but tested as silver.

Good condition.
Good hinge, snaps shut.
