Description

This very elegant Edwardian silver mustard pot was made in Chester in 1908 and is in the Georgian revival style. Of traditional oval form , the sides pierced with vertical slats within prick-dot borders. The navette shaped cartouche vacant on both sides. The domed cover with urn finial and matching bright-cut decorations. Sold with a matched silver mustard spoon. The plain flat scroll handle with thumb-piece.
Fitted with a blue glass liner in perfect condition.
Hallmarks:
AM for Alfred Marston.
Chester Assay Mark.
Date letter "H" for 1908.
Lion Passant.
Condition:
Very good
No dings or dents.
Liner in perfect condition.
Good hinge.
