The back with a shaped scroll handle. Fitted with the original blue glass liner. The inner lid hallmarked with maker's marks, date letter and Lion Passant. Sold with a Fiddle pattern solid silver mustard spoon by Elizabeth Eaton (an equally illustrious silversmith) and dated London 1845. Hallmarks: C.T.F. over G.F. for Charles Thomas & George Fox.
