Description
This charming Edwardian silver hat pin holder was made by the sought-after silversmiths Saunders & Shepherd. and is dated Chester 1905. The plain circular loaded base with a central stem. The stem with a ball terminal. The stem with heart-shaped wirework frames designed to hold hat pins in place and fitted with three ring hooks.Hallmarks:
CS*FS for Cornelius Desormeaux Saunders & James Francis Hollings Shepherd.
Chester Assay Mark.
Lion Passant.
Date letter "e" for 1905.
