This very elegant pair of solid silver candlesticks were made by highly collectable William Hutton & Sons and is dated London 1896. Each with an oval fluted base, tapering panelled column and original detachable sconce. Loaded bases with original green baize. Full hallmarks struck to the side of each base, to the sleeve of each capital and to the inner sconce of each candlestick.

This stunning pair of cast silver candlesticks are modelled on a traditional Georgian design. Made in Sheffield 1937 by the illustrious William Hutton & Sons, they are heavy gauged and of excellent quality. They have shell and scroll decoration to a square shaped base. The stem with a circular knop. The capitals with the original detachable sconces. There are Full hallmarks struck to the side of each base and partial hallmarks struck to the sleeve of each capital. The date letters differ by a year on the candlesticks which happened quite often in retailing but they are a genuine pair.

This exquisite Georgian silver miniature chamber stick and matching snuffer is dated Sheffield 1824 . Very much in the Georgian Rococo style, it is profusely embossed with foliate motifs. The circular tray with an embellished flying scroll handle fitted with a belcher chain attached to a fully hallmarked cone-shaped snuffer. The gadroon socket with the original fully hallmarked nozzle. It is very rare to have all the original elements present and in such fine condition.

These stunning Georgian Old Sheffield plate telescopic candlesticks were made circa 1800. Telescopic candlesticks are rather scarce and very sought-after. The telescopic mechanism allowing to choose the height of the candlesticks. Each plain column is decorated with gadroon borders and raised on a circular base. To raise the candlestick, rotate the upper section of the column clockwise, to lower it, rotate anti-clockwise.
Both fitted with the original detachable drip pans. The base with green felt.

Mechanism in very good order for the age, Both candlesticks stay firmly in place when up.
