Description
This is an unusual Edwardian silver dual envelope stamp case. The cover engraved with foliar scrolls. The front opening to reveal a plain interior fitted with two stamp compartments. The back with conforming decorations surrounding a vacant cartouche. Complete with stamps.Hallmarks:
A.E.J. for Albert Ernest Jenkins.
Chester assay mark.
Lion Passant.
Date letter "F" for 1906.
Dimensions:
4.5 cm x 2.5 cm.
Condition:
Good.
The cartouche with some slight creases.
