Description
This unusual George V silver slide button double stamp case is dated Birmingham 1914. The plain rectangular cover with green cabochon gem sliding up to reveal a gilded interior with two compartments for stamps. The inner case impressed with Patent number.Hallmarks:
A BROS for the Ahronsberg Brothers.
Birmingham Assay Mark.
Date letter "p" for 1914.
Lion Passant.
