Description
These small and elegant George V silver jewellery boxes were made by the prolific silversmiths A&J Zimmerman and are dated Birmingham 1913. It is quite unusual to come across a matching pair. Each box with a domed circular cover opening to reveal a gilt inner lid and original pale duck-egg blue silk interior. The plain circular body raised on three cabriole legs. The underside with a black Morocco leather base.Hallmarks:

Date letter "o" for 1913.
Condition:
Excellent.
Cover free from dings and in very good smooth condition.
Strong hinge.
Original interiors in nice condition.
