Description
This rare and exquisite pair of Victorian Scottish silver silver table lyre candlestick was made by the renowned Hamilton & Inches and is hallmarked for Edinburgh 1895. Inspired by a Neo classical Georgian design, the body in the form of a lyre or harp with two scrolled supports framing four wires representing the strings.Raised on a reeded oval base.
Loaded and base with green felt.

Edinburgh Assay mark.
Date letter "o" for 1895.
Thistle.
