Description

This very pretty Mid-Victorian silver caddy spoon was made in Birmingham 1866 by the renowned Hilliard & Thomason. The scalloped oval bowl embossed with leaves, flowers and seed pods. The silver handle mounted with a beautiful banded agate and applied with two leaves draping on the edge of the bowl.
The bowl fully hallmarked.
Hallmarks:
H&T for Hilliard & Thomason.
Lion Passant.
Birmingham Assay Mark.
Duty Mark.
Date letter "R" for 1866.
Condition:
Very good.
