This is a stunning silver & powder blue guilloche compact bearing the marks of Jackob Tostrup, renowned Norwegian jeweller. de circa 1880. Of circular form, the front and back decorated with a stunning engine-turned powder blue enamel. The hinged lid opening to reveal a gilt interior.It is an exquisite piece of wonderful quality
