Description
This is a gorgeous and unusual solid silver thimble with a red carnelian agate top. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1924 and bears the marks of James Swann & Son. It has a plain band to the base, engraved spiral design to the centre and a traditional dotting to the upper section. Stamped 6 for size 6.Presented in a beautiful red leather case, lines with velvet and satin and impressed with retailer's marks.

Birmingham Assay Mark.
Date letter "z" for 1922.
Size number 6.
