Description
This unusual and rather charming Art Nouveau solid silver desk thermometer was made by J. Batson & Son is dated London 1903. The shaped elongated frame with an embossed silver front surrounding the original brass thermometer.Hallmarks:
HBA for J Batson & Son (Henry John Batson & Albert Edward Batson)
London Assay.
Lion Passant.
Date letter "h" for 1903.
Condition:
Silver frame in very good condition.
Velvet back and easel in very good condition.
Thermometer not working.
