Description
This is a gorgeous late Victorian solid silver patience double card box. Made by the celebrated Chester silversmiths Nathan & Hayes and dated 1900. Of rectangular form and profusely embossed with foliate scrolls, the hinged domed cover opening to reveal a rich gilt interior.Fitted with the original and complete pair of Patience playing cards.
