Description

This silver and glass glug-glug decanter was made in Sheffield in 1898. It is a half size decanter, measuring 8 inches high. The glass body with pinched and fluted central waist. The silver mounted neck fully hallmarked.
Original hollow ribbed glass stopper.
Star cut base.
Hallmarks:
JD over Wd for James Deakin & Sons
Sheffield Assay Mark.
Lion Passant.
Date letter "f" for 1898.
Dimensions:
Height: 20cm - 8 inches.
Base: 8cm x 8cm - 3 inches x 3 inches.
Condition:
Very good.
Glass in very good condition.
No damage to inner neck or stopper.
Silver neck in excellent condition.
