Description
This delightful cased silver thimble was made in Chester 1915 by the collectable Charles Horner. The lower section of the thimble fully hallmarked. The upper section engraved with stylised flower heads. The unusual and rather exquisite Morocco leather case lined with maroon velvet and satin and bearing the retailer's marks in gilt lettering.Hallmarks:
CH for Charles Horner.
Lion Passant.
Chester Assay Mark.
Date letter "P" for 1915.
