Description
This is a superb and very unusual Arts & Craft silver caddy spoon. Made in Chester 1906 it bears the marks of George Nathan & Ridley Hayes. The ovoid bowl with distinctive spot-hammered finish. The flat seal-top handle engraved with symbolic patterns. The back of the bowl fully hallmarked.Hallmarks:
GN over RH for George Nathan & Ridley Hayes.
Lion Passant.
Chester Assay Mark.
Date letter "f" for 1906.
