Description
This is a rare and very stylish Novelty silver desk triple photo frame / paperweight. Dated Birmingham 1900, it was made by Charles Penny Brown. The weighted triangular body covered with the original red Morocco leather. The sloping front fitted with a solid silver frame incorporating glazed slots to slide three photographs. Triple photo frames are few and far between and this particular example has such a contemporary look for a Victorian piece. A real find.Hallmarks:

Lion passant.
Birmingham mark.
Date letter "a" for 1900.
Condition:
Leather in super condition.
Silver in equally good condition, minor surface wear , commensurate with age.
