Description
This exquisite Edwardian solid silver visiting card case was made by the renowned silversmith Henry Matthews. Of rounded rectangular form, the front embossed with the very sought-after Reynold's Angels pattern. The back embossed with Art Nouveau scrolls surrounding a vacant cartouche. The hinged lid opening to reveal a full set of hallmarks on the inner rim on the case.Hallmarks:
HM for Henry Matthews.
Birmingham Assay.
Lion Passant.
Date letter "d" for 1904.

Condition:
Silver case in excellent condition with no dings or dents.
