Description
This exquisite Victorian solid silver salts are hallmarked for Birmingham 1897 and 1900 and were made by Spurrier & Co. Each salt having a finely embossed body in the form of a basket with scalloped borders and gilt interior. They come with their matching spoons, same maker, dated Birmingham 1900. A rare occurrence. Spoons a re usually lost and later replaced. Presented in their original case.Hallmarks:

Birmingham Assay Mark.
Date letter "w" and "a" for 1897 and 1900 respectively.
Condition:
Very good
No dings or dents.
Gilt a little rubbed at the base.
