Description
This exquisite small-sized solid silver and pique tortoiseshell match box cover is dated Birmingham 1936 and was made by the prolific. S Blanckensee & Sons.The tortoiseshell top inlaid with exquisite silver pique decorations, the plain silver frame mounted with a fully hallmarked solid silver base. Still retains the original matchbox.

Tortoiseshell in glossy condition, no loss to pique decorations.
