Description

This is a fabulous Victorian solid silver Art & Craft teapot made and retailed by the renowned Robert Garrards. The teapot of fluted onion form with domed hinged cover. The scroll handle with ivory spacers. The cover with silver finial. It has a very good silver gauge and feels very heavy, a testimony to its quality.

The base impressed with retailer's marks for Garrards, London.
London Assay Mark.
Lion Passant.
Duty Mark
Date letter "p" for 1870.
