Description

This small Victorian silver thimble is fitted in a delightful sarcophagus shaped tortoiseshell and mother of pearl chequered case. The hinged domed cover opening with push button to the front. The interior lined with the original velvet. The silver thimble fully hallmarked and engraved with the surname “May”
Hallmarks:
J.F for James Fenton.
Date letter “p” for 1890.
Birmingham Assay mark.
Lion Passant.
Dimensions:

Case: 3.5cm x 2.5 cm x 3cm / 1.3" x 1" x 1.2"
