Description
This is a stunning silver mounted, dual colour guilloche enamel, purse mirror made by the renowned Henry Matthews and dated Birmingham 1923. Of oval form with a powder blue guilloche enamel sunburst background within a black enamel border. It has a decorative handle and is fitted with the original bevelled mirror.Hallmarks:
HM for Henry Matthews.
Birmingham Assay mark.
Lion Passant.
Date letter "y" for 1923.
