Description

This is an exquisite George III silver double ended marrow scoop hallmarked for London 1807 and bearing the marks of the prolific spoon makers Eley & Fearn. Of conventional double-ended form, the larger bowl engraved with a family crest. Marrow scoops work equally well as stilton scoops.
Hallmarks:
WE over WF for William Eley & William Fearn.
London Assay mark.
Lion Passant.
Date letter "M" for 1807.
