Description
This large and unique piece was made in London 1906 by the reputed Goldsmiths and Silversmiths Company. It was most probably a commission piece for a wealthy collector. The deep, heavy gauge, spot-hammered silver bowl raised on three cast dolphin feet, the upper section with a simple band of raised roundels.The base impressed "GOLDSMITHS & SILVERSMITHS COMANY 112 REGENT STREET. W" and engraved 1931 to 1950, possibly a commemoration date.

London Assay mark.
Date letters "l" for 1906.
