Description
This is a stunning quality Art Deco silver bachelor cafe au lait set comprising a coffee pot and matching hot water jug. It was made by the prolific Aitkin Brothers and is dated Sheffield 1931. Each tapered cylindrical body with ebonised wood handle and finial. The coffee pot still retains its original muslin strainer.Hallmarks:
HA for the Atkins Brothers.
Sheffield Assay Mark.
Date letters "n" and "o" both for 1931
Lion Passant.
