Description
This fabulous cased set of six silver gilt demitasse coffee spoons was made in Oslo by the highly regarded David Andersen of Norway, who founded the business in 1882. Each cast silver gilt spoon with intricate turquoise and white enamel decorations. The work is reminiscent of Russian cloisonné enamel silver of the period and the Norwegian version takes inspiration from a Viking style called "Dragestil".
The spoons come in a presentation case, not the original but a good fit.

Length: 9cm / 3.4 inches.
Condition:
Two of the six spoons with a very well executed repairs, as can bee seen in the fourth image on gilt bowls.
This is reflected in the price and does not affect the usability of the spoons and is barely noticeable.
