Description
This exquisite Georgian silver tape measure dates circa 1820. The filigree work is very delicate and the winding mechanism fully functioning. The pink silk tape unwinds to a length of 15 inches / 37 cm by being holding onto the side of the tape measure and pulling gently on the tape extremity. It can be wound back by turning the top cover clockwise.Hallmarks:
Unmarked as is practically always the case with filigree items, but tested as silver.

Height: 2cm / 1 inch.
Diameter: 1.5cm / 0.4 inches.

Very good.
