Description
This exquisite French ormulu mounted, enamelled glass, chatelaine scent bottle dates circa 1870. The miniature Moser amber glass body enamelled with a gilt and polychrome enamel foliate spray. The neck with a an engraved gilt metal (ormulu) lid. The hinged lid opening to reveal a gilt interior and the neck fitted with a clear glass stopper. The sides fitted with a chain to hang onto a chatelaine. The flat base allowing the bottle to stand upright. This charming little scent bottle is rather unusual.Dimensions:

Diameter: 2cm / 0. 4 inches.

Ormulu lid in very good condition.
Glass body in very good condition.
Clear glass stopper with a small chip to the left side.
