Description

This rare and delightful French silver mounted amethyst glass scent bottle dates circa 1890. The rich barrel-shaped amethys coloured body sliced-cut in diamond and concentric patterns. The neck fitted with a slightly oversized hinged silver gilt lid, the neck with the original amethyst glass stopper.
Hallmarks:
Small French guarantee marks (boar head).

Depth: 2cm / 0.6 inches.
Condition:
Glass in very good condition.
No dings or dents.
