Description
This delightful Edwardian silver double miser's purse is dated Chester 1909. The silver frame hallmarked on both sides and fitted with a silver ring finial on one side. The centre with a silver ball clasp. The interior divided in two compartments. A really good example with a very good silver gauge.Hallmarks:
R.C for Robert Cawley.
Chester import marks.
Date letter "I" for 1909
925 for silver purity.
Set of continental marks on the opposite side of the frame.
