Description
This delightful and rather unusual Victorian sterling silver thimble is dated Chester 1887 and bears the marks of Walter & George Myers. The lower section of the thimble with decorative punch marks. It is fully hallmarked and fits snuggly in its original leather case lined with velvet and satin.Hallmarks:
W.G.M for Walter & George Myers
Lion Passant.
Chester Assay Mark.
Date letter "D" for 1887.
