Description
This delightful silver mounted amethyst glass scent bottle is dated Birmingham 1910 and bears the marks of Charles May, who specialised in perfume bottles. The panelled amethyst glass body heightened with enamel flower garlands. Mounted with a fully hallmarked silver pull-off lid. The lid embossed with foliate scrolls surrounding a vacant reserve. The inner lid corked.Hallmarks:
CM for Charles May.
Birmingham Assay Mark.
Date letter "l" for 1910.
Lion Passant.
