Description
This superb Victorian silver inkwell was made by the renowned maker JWilliam Comyns and is dated London 1894. The heavy circular base mounted with pierced silver shoulders. The domed hinged lid with conforming decorations. The underside with with star cut base.Hallmarks:
WC for William Comyns.
Date letter "T" for 1894.
London Assay mark.
Lion Passant.
