This delightful and rather unusual silver and red banded agate "sword" bookmark is dated Birmingham 1922 and bears the marks of the prolific Adie & Lovekin. The engraved silver ferrule inset with an agate handle. The blade fully hallmarked.Hallmarks:

Lion Passant.
Date letter "x" for 1922.
