Description
This is a stunning Art Deco silver lidded large preserve jar. The plain silver lid a button finial resting on an elegant sliced-cut glass body. The lid with a slot for the spoon. The exquisite solid silver leaf-shaped spoon dated Chester 1912.Hallmarks on lid:
CB&S for the Cooper Brothers,
Sheffiled Assay Mark.
Lion Passant.
Date letter "d" for 1928.
Spoon:
Chester Assay Mark.
Lion Passant.
Date letter "M" for 1912.
