Description
This exquisite and unusual Georgian silver patch box dates circa 1790. Of circular form, the pull-off cover with intricate filigree decorations surrounding a vacant roundel. The sides with filigree decorations and the back plain. It is unmarked as was very common in the Georgian era with small items of vertu.Hallmarks:
Unmarked but tested as silver.
Condition:
Very good. No dings, no dents.
Slight compression to the lid, barely noticeable and mentioned for accuracy.
