Description
This delightful and very unusual Edwardian silver swan pin cushion bears the marks of Adie & Lovekin and is dated Birmingham 1908. The body with detailed plumage rests on a circular silver ring. The eyes inset with ruby stones, a rare and exquisite detail. The original cushion finished in red velvet. The underside with black Morocco leather.Hallmarks:
AL&L for Adie & Lovekin.
Birmingham Assay Mark.
Lion Passant.
Date letter "i" for 1908.
