Description

This delightful Edwardian silver and mother of pearl bread fork is dated Birmingham 1903 and was made by William Devenport. The engraved solid silver fork with fully hallmarked ferrule and plain mother of pearl handle. Presented in its original leather cased lined with satin and velvet.
Hallmarks:
W.D for William Devenport.
Birmingham Assay Mark.
Lion passant.
Date letter "c" for 1903.
Dimensions:
Length: 15cm / 2 inches.
Condition:
Engraved decorations and hallmarks are bright.
Points of the prongs are sharp.
No splits or damage to the mother of pearl.
The ferrule is hallmarked as is the fork.
Case in very good condition.
