Description
This charming silver mounted Bristol blue glass scent bottle dates circa 1890. The discoidal shaped body mounted with a screw-top embossed silver lid. The inner lid with original cork.Hallmarks:
Not hallmarked, as it very often was the case with scent bottle lids, but tested as silver.
Dimensions:
Height: 5cm / 1.6 inches.
Width: 3cm / 1.2 inches.
Depth: 1.5 cm / 0.5 inches.
Condition:
Good.
Silver lid in very good condition.
Glass in the inner neck in very good condition, no cracks.
No holes to the silver lid.
Glass in good condition, minor surface wear, commensurate with age and use.
