Description

This charming silver and red banded agate "trowel" bookmark is dated Birmingham 1915 and bears the marks of William Henry Leather. The engraved silver ferrule inset with a banded agate handle. The translucent agate handle a delicate and elegant colour. The blade fully hallmarked. it is a small example.

Birmingham Assay mark.
Lion Passant.
Date letter "q" for 1915.
