Description

This is an unusual and very pretty Victorian silver mounted Venetian glass scent bottle. The square shaped green glass body decorated with twisted copper trailing. The screw-top silver lid embossed with foliate sprays surrounding a vacant cartouche. Fitted with a clear glass stopper.
Hallmarks:
Chester Hallmarks.
Lion passant.
date letter and maker's marks erased.
Dimensions:
Height: 11cm / 4.3 inches.
Width: 4.5cm / 1.6 inches.
Depth: 4.5cm / 1.6 inches.
Condition:
Good.
Glass in the inner neck in good condition, no cracks.
No holes to the lid.
Hallmarks partially erased.
