Description
This gorgeous overlay opaline glass silver mounted scent bottle was made by the renowned scent bottle maker Charles May and is dated Birmingham 1905. The vivid green opaque body cut to white opaline glass then to clear glass with geometric patterns. The neck mounted with an embossed hinged silver lid and fitted with a clear glass stopper.Hallmarks:
CM for Charles May.
Birmingham Assay mark.
Lion passant.
Date letter "f" for 1905.

Condition:
Glass in very good condition.
Inside of neck in excellent condition. No cracks.
Silver lid in very good condition.
