Description
This is a delightful 18th Century South Staffordshire Bilston * enamel patch box. The cover has a white background enamelled with polychrome flower decorations. The hinged lid opening to reveal a white interior. The base an unusual green colour.Dimensions:
Length: 4cm / 1.4 inches.
Width: 3cm / 1.2 inches.
Height: 2cm / 0.6 inches.
Condition:
In very good condition for this type of object.
Minor grazing, commensurate with age.
A couple of small chips, to be expected with such objects.
Good strong hinge.
