Description
This is a stunning 19th Century French ormulu mounted cut glass scent bottle. The square shaped glass body with very decorative thumb-cutormulu lattice work collar. The conforming bronze dore hinged lid inset with a tinted print of the Pantheon in Paris. The base on a forgeous bronze dore plinth. Opens to reveal the original clear glass stopper. Smooth pontil base.Dimensions:
Height: 11cm / 4.2 inches.
Base : 6cm x 6cm / 2.2 inches x 2.2 inches.
Condition:
Very good.
Glass and ormulu mounts in very good condition.
The glazed print in exceptional condition, these are so often faded.
The lid with dent.
