Description
This exquisite Georgian silver tape measure dates circa 1820. The cylindrical body embossed with fruiting vines. The top and base applied with flower head decorations. The winding mechanism fully functioning. The pink silk tape unwinds to a length of 10 inches by being holding onto the side of the tape measure and pulling gently on the tape extremity. It can be wound back by turning the top cover clockwise. it is a wonderful example in excellent condition.Hallmarks:
Unmarked as is practically always the case with filigree items, but tested as silver.
